Residential Development

MCEDF's Residential Development Committee develops strategies on how to enhance existing residential development while encouraging new housing opportunities throughout all of Mills County.  MCEDF leadership focuses on promoting public policies conducive to attractive, efficient, and affordable housing meeting the needs of all market sectors.  This focus often involves developing and implementing tools that will encourage existing property owners to invest in maintenance and upkeep of their properties to enhance property values and encourage new development in and around existing single family and multiple family dwellings.  Current residential developments under way in the county include:

  • Malvern Golf Course Subdivision
  • Lake Ohana Residential Development
  • Jim Hughes Real Estate Developments (Glenwood and rural Mills County)
  • Oakridge Subdivision in Glenwood
  • Final Phase of Glenbrook Subdivision in Glenwood
