Overview

Mills County is located in Southwest Iowa. The county is bordered by the Missouri River and the Omaha, Nebraska metropolitan area on the west, Pottawattamie County to the north, Montgomery County to the east, and Fremont County  the south. The beautiful Loess Hills run through the western part of the county. Interstate 29 and Highway 34 intersect near Glenwood and Pacific Junction.
