Silver City is located in North Central Mills County on County Road L55. The City is approximately 25 miles southeast of the Omaha/ Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area and is tucked away in the beautiful scenic loess hills. Silver City can be reached from Highway 92, eight miles to the north on County L55 or US Highway 34, six miles to the south of L55.

Business Climate

The Wabash Trace Nature Trail passes through the community where bicyclists enjoy scenic parks, churches, restaurant, and specialty foods such as Poppin’ Pickles a locally produced gourmet pickle producer.  An aronia berry processing business is new to the area as well as several local wineries offering visitors a unique get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
