Mills County is looking for an outgoing, dynamic leader with strong communication and networking skills to lead the Glenwood Area Chamber of Commerce!

Glenwood Area Chamber Executive Director

The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of all Chamber functions and for carrying out policies and duties established by the Board of Directors (BOD).

The Glenwood Area Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization. Their mission is to aggressively promote and enhance the community, businesses, and quality of life in the Mills County area.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related discipline or an equivalent combination of training and experience related to the duties of the position.

Excellent oral and written communication with attention to detail.

Sound strategic thinking and people management skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

Energetic self-starter with proven ability to work autonomously.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.

Strong organizational leadership skill including ability to work with various stakeholders including; volunteers, board of directors, employees, civic leaders and members.
