Taco Rides are Hot in Mineola
Monday, February 05, 2018
Mineola is an unincorporated village in the beautiful Loess Hills of Mills County. The Loess Hills are part of the Wabash Trail known throughout the nation as a breathtaking destination for hikers, campers, outdoor enthusiasts, and cyclists.
Every Thursday evening during early spring through late fall months, 1,000s of cyclists ride the Wabash Trace Nature Trail from Council Bluffs to Mineola, Iowa with a goal to reach Tobey Jack’s Mineola Steakhouse for fresh tacos and a cold beverage. Tacos and beer...that’s what I call motivation!
Mineola boasts fun and family as there are several new housing opportunities in and around the community with a short 15 minute commute to the Omaha metropolitan area.
